Here are the Seattle reports for real estate in September:
The price per square foot of residential homes are up 12% from the same time last year due to the strong local employment in the Seattle area. Demand continues to put a strain on inventory which is down 45% over last year. Sellers of condominiums are really profiting from the market with an increase in price per square foot up $148/sq. ft. or 40% over last year. With the strong local economy and pressure on the housing market we expect to see price increases and the strain on inventory to continue.
